The collection

The owner of the Károly Collection has spent twenty-five years of his life working in more, than 30 countries at four continents.

During his stay in different countries he selected and purchased sculptures and paintings he believed were vital, persuasive, devotional tools creating a connection with the divine and encouraging an experience of the sacred transcending time and space.

Provenance, age or medium were not considered while purchasing an item, only the object’s ability to create identification with and participation in the sacred scene.

The Károly Collection comprises of items originating from East, South and Southeast Asia.
